REVIEW - Feb 2019 - 4 Day Guided Coastal & Mountain Tour
1. Did you find the route within your riding capabilities and was the Craig & the Team professional and helpful?
Yes we discussed my riding experience before heading out and I’m pleased to say that as an Enduro rider he set me on plenty of off road routes. Craig was very knowledgeable about the routes which made the ride more interesting and challenging
2. Was the route and scenic and interesting?
Yes excellent, Craig’s knowledge enabled us to change the routes according to my riding ability - making the tour more interesting for me.
3. Can you list any highlights of the experience?
The highlight of the trip for me was a return journey through the Swartberg to Prince Albert . The top of the route was covered in mist and very slippery which was challenging but having ridden out over the terrain it was great to use my knowledge of the route returning at a much faster speed!
4. Was the accommodation acceptable and comfortable?
Yes. Really good accommodation, I particularly liked the Cat and Cow guest farm in the middle of no where. Extremely comfortable with nice personal touches and the owners were very welcoming.
5. Were the Motorcycles and accessories in good condition?
Yes, Excellent my bike was brand new, out of the box - almost!
6. What rating out of ten would you give the whole experience with BMW Adventure Rentals?
10/10 the only thing which could have been slightly improved was the weather!
7. Was the experience something you would recommend to friends with similar Motorcycling interest? Yes definitely
8. Would you consider touring with BMW Adventure Rentals again?
Yes I’d be happy to travel with Craig again on a long tour - just need to save up!
It was booked for me as a present and it exceeded my expectations. Good amount of variety on a four day tour. Personally I prefer off road riding so it ticked that box.

1. Did you find the route within your riding capabilities and was the Craig & the Team professional and helpful?
The route put together by Craig and the Team was phenomenal. The terrain was beautiful and the quality of the tracks was well within my riding capabilities and expertly laid out for me.

Driving north from Heidelberg on Day 2, the rain had come in and the clouds hung low as I rode up the Tradouw Pass. Once I made it through the other side of teh pass, the sun immediately broke out revealing the beauty of the Karoo.

Yes. All of the accommodation on the route was perfectly selected and managed.
5. Were the Motorcycles and accessories in good condition?
Yes, the BMW R1200GS LC was in great condition and served me well for the route.

7. Was the experience something you would recommend to friends with similar Motorcycling interest? Absolutely.

Yes. I’m already planning to book my next trip to Namibia
From the moment I sent Craig an email through the website, the experience with BMW Motorcycle Adventures was top-notch. Craig and team put together a great package for my ride through the Karoo at a great price for my budget. It was the perfect vacation that I needed — so much, that I’ll be coming back soon.
